Scottish giants Rangers are keen on to sign quality striker in January and according to the latest reports they are planning to make a move for Latvian sensation Vladislavs Gutkovskis who has been on the trial with The Gers and impressed Mark Warburton with his attitude and hard working.
The 20 year old Latvian starlet has been huge for his team Skonto Riga, this term he already managed to score 10 goals for his team, in his best season back in 2012/13 has netted 28 times in 34 league games.
Gustovskis’s agent Romans Bezzubovs has confirmed excitement of Rangers boss and revealed that his client is close to join the Gers in January.
Bezzubovs said: “Rangers took a good look at him last week and I believe they liked what they saw in him.”
“It’s no secret that he was at Everton last year and there is also interest from English clubs outside the Premier League.”
“We’re waiting for Rangers to speak to Skonto Riga, but I expect something will happen with Vladislavs when the January transfer window reopens.”
Gutkovskis has spent last week at Murray Park before returning to Latvia but the 20-year old striker could return in Glasgow to sign a new deal with Scottish giants.
